"I wanted to send you an email to let you know how pleased my family was with the accommodation and Regal Palms Resort in general. It was, as many previous holidaymakers have already testified, exactly as described on the website! I would have no hesitation in recommending this resort and your property to any prospective or anxious (as I was!) holidaymakers, and would be happy for you to pass on my email address for genuine enquiries.

We were also pleased with the maintenance services, when we had to call them out to re programme the safe (which had been incorrectly left open/locked by the previous occupants). They were prompt and efficient in rectifying the problem.

Though we ate out most of the time, there was a couple of occasions when we were so tired after long days in the Theme Parks that we just wanted to get back to the Resort for a much needed swim and enjoyed very good meals at the Resort restaurant. My very fussy husband preferred these meals to some we had at the Theme Parks!! Praise indeed.

Also as a final note, I would also like to recommend the excellent Health Center/Spa. I decided to give my aching feet a treat at the end of the holiday with the 10% Owner discount vouchers you sent us and enjoyed an excellent aromatherapy pedicure and on the Saturday morning before leaving, a relaxing facial which set me up for the long journey home.

We had a great holiday, the resort and your house was just as you said it would be.

The staff at the resort were very friendly and helpful, also all the advise and tips you had given us before leaving for our holiday was excellent and spot on.

The resort is ideal for families and for meeting people and because everyone went to the parks at different times, though out our stay the resort was never too busy not to enjoy the pools and have some quite relaxing times without having to worry about the children, we could always keep an eye on them from any area of the pool.

We would and have recommended you to our family and friends and work colleagues, so don't be surprised if they mention our names if they contact you. Thank you once again for all your advise and help up to and during our stay".

"This was truly one of the nicest places we have ever stayed.

We booked with unit owner Simon directly. He is a class act. Everything he claimed on his website www.regalpalmsrental.com was entirely true.

Check in was a breeze. We had no issues at all. The unit itself was immaculate. It had 3 bedrooms (all with their own full baths), a very nice sized kitchen, a laundry room with washer/dryer, a dining room, a nice size living room, and a balcony off the master bedroom. My wife walked in, and said "This is beautiful!” After years of staying in various hotel rooms all over the country, it takes a lot to get her to say something like that. She is a bit picky, so I was surprised to hear it.

The pool area is just as great as everyone else is describing it. The water is nice and warm, the water slide and lazy river are great, and the snack window (where you can get anything from Pina Coladas to a well cooked steak) was good as well. The playground inside this area was an added plus for the kids. They loved every minute of it. My wife enjoyed the spa, where she got a pedicure. It was reasonably priced at around $40. The fitness center was really nice, and the separate hot tub in there was a plus. We ate at the on-site restaurant one night, and the food was good. It was priced similar to most mid-scale, chain restaurants (Outback, Carrabba's, Red Lobster, and the like). The fact that there was a Publix supermarket a stone's throw away was great for us. It saved us money buying food there, and cooking, rather than going out to eat every night. Check out was also a breeze. We had no issues there either.

All and all, we had a great time. The kids loved it and it was extremely clean, so it passed my major concerns with flying colors. We will be back next year, that's for sure!! Here are some photos. "We decided to to the Florida thing this year and so began a marathon search for accommodation there for us. Not wanting the restrictions of a hotel room, and having been spoiled with a previous private home rental in Europe we had exact needs in mind.

Then after finding Simon's web-site we knew this was to be the one.

Everything from initial enquiry to booking to paying and, of course, arrival was so painless and the most straightforward rental we have ever done. Clear directions helped tremendously.

Checking in was so easy and we rolled up to the door of our home for the next 2 weeks full of tiredness but with happy hearts. From the very second we entered it felt just right, cool, clean and very well equipped and with a TV the size of a cinema we were a happy bunch. All 4 rooms had cable tv with some of them even having a video or dvd player :-)) the bathrooms were huge and an endless supply of hot water it seemed.

The facilities at Regal Palms are top notch and the pool area is such a wonderful place for old and young alike, even with a barbeque at weekends. It was nearly as much fun as the parks themselves. The parks are so easy to find and Disney was easily reached within 15 minutes in the busy times, 7 or 8 minutes at the quieter times. All other attractions are well within the half hour as well.

Shopping was a piece of cake and unusually for here can be walked to in 3 minutes :-)))

We all look forward to renting one of Simon's homes again next year and would have NO hesitation whatsoever to recommend them to anyone. Even to the point of linking his website to mine.

"We just returned from a 10 day stay in your wonderful house. The townhouse was spotless and very well laid out. Having all those bedrooms and bathrooms was terrific!! It was such a bonus being able to put the kids to bed upstairs and then relaxing by ourselves downstairs. Another awesome feature is the washer and dryer. It was so nice to be able to pack only half the amount of clothes we normally do & then being able to come home with no laundry! We will never go back to a hotel in Orlando again!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about the pool area!! The kids (and the adults) found we would rather stay there most of the time than hit the Theme Parks. The lazy river and slide are incredible. Both pools were so warm in the middle of February. We also enjoyed jumping in the hot tub for a nice long hot soak. We ate a few times at the restaurant and found the food to be very affordable and satisfying. Plus...we loved the idea of being able to enjoy a cocktail pool-side if we so chose.
